Public holiday’s in both SA and Victoria didn’t help the cause any today. There were a number of traders simply out of the market today. Considering most head offices are in Melbourne these days we may as well had the day off here as well.

As a result I wouldn’t take a lot of notice of today’s prices. With little interest on the sell side I’ve found it hard to extract firm bids from the limited number of participants today.

I did have buying interest for 100t to 200t of sorghum for April / May at $210 ex farm LPP if anyone is interested. This is not a large order and is to be picked up over that nominated period.

I’m in the middle of building a new website. It’s fairly complex but you know, I’m not exactly run off my feet right now either. If you can think of something you would really like to see on a website, something that will make it standout for you, something that you hate on other websites just let me know, after all I am building it for you guys to use.

The Aussie dollar is stronger today, it’s taken out Friday night’s highs and is currently going through at 75.84 after a session high of just under 76c.
The Globex session in the States is generally a smidge firmer on all grains and ASX wheat for May16 last traded at $264, just 80c under Friday’s close.
